My guild, Chi Cerca Trova on Alliance-side, Durotan-US is recruiting, especially healers. 

We raid 25-man casual progression Mon-Weds 8:30-11:30p.m. EST, currently 6/6 MSV normal and 5/6 HoF. 

We are mostly adults 20+, and we look for players who are mature, show up to raid prepared (gemmed, enchanted, reforged, flasked, repaired, having read the strat, etc.), and want to kill bosses.

At the same time, we also look for players who understand that there are times when people will have to sit out of the raid for one reason or another, that we take breaks for kid and spouse aggro, and that we don’t expect players to be perfect (but trying to be perfect doesn’t hurt… :-P).

I’m in a 25-man raiding guild that has been my primary WoW home for about 5 years (minus a 1 year break). They are, as far as I’m concerned, my friends.

I also play with my husband who recently came back to the game.

Mostly, though; I play by myself. I’m not a group-for-quests kind of person. I love to group when the task at hand requires grouping or to help someone out, but when I’m leveling or farming, I’d rather be on my own.

I’m up to eyeballs in things to write, so my regular blog hasn’t been getting an awful lot of action. I’m resurrecting this Tumblr because some things are too long to Tweet but too short to post.

Fellow moonkin, what numbers are you seeing on Wind Lord? Raid Bots parses us at 132k for 25N, but I’m not quite hitting 120k on my very best attempts.

The best results came when I popped Inc and went into Solar in the beginning, dotted a couple, and use Hurricane. When I was almost out of mana, I targeted whichever group was highest on health and multidotted and nuked through Eclipses (using Starfall as you would normally), then using Hurricane when I made it back to Solar.

Thoughts? What are you guys doing differently?

I am just over the 4pc 3.7k breakpoint and itemized to Crit otherwise. I’m talented into Inc & NV.

Phase 1:

Raid stacks in the middle.

Ping pong soakers rotate.

DoT is not cleansed. 

Phase 2:

Flails are tanked.

DPS and Healers are split into either 2 or 4 groups to take down tentacles.
