30 Days of Warcraft - Day 18 (Emotes!)

I keep missing days and then acting like I didn’t. That’s cool, though. I basically made Thursday and Friday cease to exist. That’s how I roll.

Day 18 – Favorite Emote and the best situation to use it in.

There are two I probably use more than any others:

Emote #1: /dance

Best situation: All of them. I’m a druid.

Emote #2: /pat

Best situation (for me): Depending on the context, it’s either a sarcastic dismissal or a step less than a hug. Think: “Aren’t you cuuute!”

Emotes I use most according to the Armory:

/wave: To be fair, the reason this one is so high is because of 2 individuals. I don’t actually go around waving very much, but when I do…

/cheer: Admittedly, I /cheer a lot. I /cheer at people who help me defend in battlegrounds. I cheer at people when I see them online after a long absence. I cheer at people when they get achievements near me. I cheer randomly at people I don’t know. What can I say? It’s a universal way to say, “HEY, you’re awesome!”

Day 17 – What do you do when the server’s down?!

I wish I had something exciting to tell you, but the truth is that all I do is work or clean house, checking Twitter, Tumblr, and my guild forums between tasks.

It’s not exciting, but it is a really good use of my time!
